We’re a dedicated non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) company located at 7 Glenwood Ave, 4th Floor, East Orange, New Jersey 07017, proudly serving the healthcare industry across New Jersey. Our mission is simple: to deliver reliable, safe, and compassionate transportation for patients in need.

We partner directly with Modivcare—formerly known as LogistiCare—a national leader in NEMT services that works with state Medicaid and Medicare programs. JMT serves as an approved third-party transportation provider for Modivcare, helping patients get to and from scheduled healthcare appointments.

Your Role at JMT

If you’re selected to join our team, your official job title will be Ambulatory Service Specialist (ASS). As an ASS, your responsibilities include:

  • Receiving patient (rider) names and appointment schedules
  • Planning and coordinating your daily routes efficiently
  • Communicating with your supervisor regularly
  • Transporting riders safely and punctually to their healthcare appointments

JMT will provide you with:

  • A company vehicle
  • Gas and toll coverage
  • Vehicle maintenance support

Pre-Employment Process

Before you’re officially hired, you’ll need to complete the following steps:

  1. Submit your application and upload all required documents on our secure website.
  2. Complete our online pre-employment test.

If selected for employment, you must also pass the following mandatory screenings (as required by the state and Modivcare):

  • Fingerprinting
  • Background check
  • Drug testing

Required Certifications

To meet both state and Modivcare requirements, you must successfully complete the following online certification courses:

  1. Defensive Driving Course 10X Edition
  2. First Aid, CPR, and AED Training
  3. PASS (Passenger Assistance, Safety & Sensitivity) Training
These certifications are not optional. They are essential for protecting our patients, maintaining compliance, and ensuring the highest quality of care in transit.
